You know how it happens in marketing.  You log into your email to see that leads are down 20% and that we need to increase pipeline by 2 million by the end of the quarter.  Just as you are walking into a meeting someone needs a PPT deck of program details within the next 4 hours in order to secure Q3 funding.  The competition just launched a new product and they are grabbing major market share or most importantly we’re out of stress balls and pens again.

The Ultimate Research Checklist Before Kicking off a Marketing Initiative.

I recently returned from several meetings across the country all around planning for 2014.  Frankly, it was all good stuff.  As marketers you all have some great ideas and plans, I am excited for 2014.  Yes, there is still a lot to do; plans to get approved, budgets that need to be funded, SOWs and POs that need to be processed and tactics that need to be executed, but the process has started and for some of you is already complete.
