What is FSC®?

The Forest Stewardship Council is dedicated to promoting responsible stewardship of the world’s forests through the certification of wood products from “well managed” forests. FSC® is widely recognized as having the most stringent standards of any such certification system in the world.

The pulp for FSC® certified paper must be rendered from trees grown in a well managed forest or recycled from previously used papers that meet those standards. While many papers are recycled, only FSC®-certified printers can guarantee that the papers they use originate in well managed forests and follow a strict custodial protocol for end use.

Why use FSC®-Certified Products?

By purchasing FSC®-certified products, you contribute to the conservation and responsible management of the world’s forests. Organizations qualified to use the FSC® trademark receive international recognition for their commitment to sustainability and the preservation of our natural resources for future generations.
